The fourth is that the auxiliary gas pressure is not appropriate, and the slag cannot be effectively blown away.
The solution is as follows: For the laser power problem, check the generator and optical system to ensure their normal operation and stable power.
For the cutting speed, the speed should be appropriately reduced according to the thickness of the carbon steel and the laser power, and the optimal value should be found through experiments.
Re-adjust the focus position, and the automatic or manual method can be used to align the material surface or adjust it to the appropriate depth.
The auxiliary gas pressure should also be adjusted to control it within the appropriate range according to the thickness of the carbon steel, while ensuring that the gas nozzle is unobstructed and the distance is appropriate.
Cutting slag also often occurs. The main reasons are insufficient auxiliary gas purity, mismatch between cutting speed and power, and inappropriate nozzle structure and size.
When solving it, use high-purity auxiliary gas and install filtering and drying devices. Optimize cutting speed and power parameters to reduce dross. Choose a suitable nozzle, such as a convergent nozzle, and select the inner diameter according to the thickness.
In addition, the cutting size deviation may be caused by CNC program errors, machine transmission system accuracy problems, or material thermal deformation.
Check the program, maintain the transmission system, consider the impact of thermal deformation, and take measures such as optimizing the cutting path and pre-cooling to solve it.
